Mark Abbott is a Key Accounts Manager for the ITW Medical division of Glenview based Illinois Tool Works. He’s held various roles at ITW that have allowed him to focus on end-user pain points and working with cross-functional teams on developing solutions to solve critical customer issues. This experience fuels a passion for optimization and efficiency that transfers to his desire to improve living conditions of those underserved in the communities of Chicago.
Mark has served on the board of United Way of Miami County in Ohio where he partnered with local corporations and agencies to tackle community needs in education, income, and health. Mark also
served on the board of the Otsego Lake Association in Northern Michigan leading efforts focusing on the
large-scale restoration of a large freshwater lake facing ecological destruction.
Mark enjoys outdoor activities in his free time such as running, biking, walking, and hiking, but he enjoys being on or in the water more than anything.
